the Code of Criminal Procedure filed on 29.06.2018 in connection
with Krishnagar Women P.S. Case No. 81 of 2018 dated
16.06.2018 under Sections 498A/500/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

allowed It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the instant

case arose out of matrimonial discord.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

Having considered the materials in the case diary and

bearing in mind the nature of allegations, we are of the opinion

that though custodial interrogation of the petitioner may not be

necessary, petitioner requires to cooperate with the investigation

in accordance with law.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the

petitioner shall be released on anticipatory bail upon furnishing a

bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties

of like amount, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and on

condition that petitioner shall meet the investigating officer once in

a week until further orders and also be subject to the conditions

as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal

Procedure, 1973.
