Heard learned counsel for the parties.
Petitioner is mother-in-law of opposite party no. 2.
Petitioner has challenged the cognizance order dated 28.11.2014,
passed in Complaint Case No. 1032(C) of 2014, taking cognizance
under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code, against the
petitioner also.
The complaint petition and the statement of the
complainant on oath clearly reveals that there is allegation against
the petitioner also. Husband has already filed a divorce case
against opposite party no. 2.
Considering the material on the record disclosing
commission of cognizable offence, I am not inclined to interfere

with the impugned order. Accordingly, this application is
dismissed.
