This is a petition that has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C.

for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 20 dated

10.03.2017 under Sections 406/498A IPC, registered at Police Station

Women Cell, Ludhiana.

By order dated 23.05.2017, the petitioner had been directed to

join investigation within a period of 10 days. Thereafter, the matter was

taken up on 16.08.2017, 13.09.2017, 10.10.2017, 16.12.2017 and

12.07.2018, on all these dates and even today, there has been no appearance

on behalf of the petitioner. It seems that the petitioner is not interested in

pursuing the instant petition.

Dismissed for non-prosecution.
