1. Heard.

2. Applicants are the permanent residents
of Mumbai, Maharashtra. They are seeking pre-
arrest bail in Crime No. 700/2019 registered with
Kotwali Police Station, District-Fatehpur, Uttar
Pradesh for the offences punishable under

Sections 498A, 323, 504, 506, 342, 313, 494 and 377
of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 alongwith Sections
3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act read with
Section 4 of Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on
Marriage) Act, 2019. The applicants are seeking
anticipatory bail for a period of three weeks. The
subject offence has been registered by the wife of
applicant no.1 in the State of Uttar Pradesh.
Applicants are seeking reasonable time to
approach the Court of competent jurisdiction to
seek the relief of pre-arrest bail.

3. Since the applicants are residents of
Mumbai, Maharashtra they are hereby granted pre-
arrest bail for a period of four weeks i.e.upto
14th February, 2020 to enable them to approach the
court of competent jurisdiction.

4. It is made expressly clear that this
Court has not gone into the merits of the matter.

5. In view of the facts of the case, in the
event of arrest of the applicants in C.R. No.700 of
2019 registered with of Kotwali Police Station,

District-Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh, they shall be
released on bail on furnishing P.R. Bond of
Rs.20,000/- (Rs. Twenty Thousand only) each with
one or two sureties in the like sum.

6. The applicants shall not tamper with the
evidence or attempt to influence or contact the
complainant, witnesses or any person concerned
with the case.

7. The Anticipatory Bail Application stands
disposed off.
