under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code. The prayer made in

the application is to the effect that the judgment and order dated

5th August 2008 convicting the applicant/accused be quashed and

set aside on the basis of consent terms.

3 The offence alleged and held to be proved against the

applicant/accused is a non-compoundable offence. In this view of

the matter, the application is rejected.
