Prayer in this petition is for quashing of FIR No.60 dated

07.06.2016 under Section 406 IPC, registered at Police Station City Women

Cell, Patiala and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom.

It is submitted on behalf of respondent No.2 that charges have

already been framed in this case on 19.05.2017 and subsequently, the trial Court

is recording the statement of the prosecution witnesses.

In view of the above, this petition has been rendered as infructuous.

However, the petitioner will be at liberty to raise all the pleas/defence during

the course of trial.

Since the petitioner is an old person, the trial Court is directed to

dispose of the petition before 20.12.2018.
