Petitioner applied for the post of Computer Operator.
Pending the process of selection, since a criminal case u/s. 498A of
the Indian Penal Code etc. was filed against the petitioner, when
the select list of candidates was declared on 03.05.2017, the result
of the petitioner was kept in abeyance.

Mr. Anand Sharma, learned advocate for the petitioner would
contend that in a quashing petition, this Court on 30.01.2017
granted interim relief staying the criminal proceedings. On
09.07.2019, the quashing petition was allowed, he therefore made
a representation to the administrative side of the High Court to
know the status of his result. He was informed that his result was
kept in abeyance till the date of final decision in the aforesaid
criminal matter or one year from the date of approval of the panel.
Mr. Sharma would rely on Sub Clause (d) of Clause 6 of the
advertisement and contend that the select list / waiting list remains
in force for the period of two years and, therefore, decision

communicated under the Right to Information Act under the
communication dated 19.08.2019 is incorrect.

Issue Notice to the respondents returnable on 15.04.2020.
