2 09-04-2018 The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in

connection with Manjhi P.S. Case No. 229 of 2017 dated

15.10.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 341,

323, 324, 307, 354, 379, 504, 506, 34 of the Indian Penal

Code.

The petitioner is alleged to have given a blow by an

iron rod, leading to injuries on the person of the informant.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted

that petitioner is an agnate of the informant and has been

falsely implicated in this case. The injuries suffered by the

informant are opined to be simple in nature, caused by hard

and blunt substance. The other allegation under Section 354

I.P.C is not believable as the victim is the niece of the
Patna High Court Cr.M isc. No.16091 of 2018 (2) dt.09-04-2018

petitioner.

Regard being had to the nature of relationship

between the parties and the injuries suffered by the

informant being simple in nature, the petitioner, above

named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before learned

Court below within a period of four weeks from today, is

directed be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds of

Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like

amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief

Judicial Magistrate, V, Saran at Chapra in connection with

Manjhi P.S. Case No. 229 of 2017.
