Petitioner-accused has filed the present petition impugning the
judgment dated 22.07.2008 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge
(Fast Track Court), Bathinda, whereby his appeal against the judgment of
conviction and order of sentence dated 08.08.2007 was dismissed.

Vide order dated 08.08.2007, the trial Court convicted the
petitioner under Section 354 IPC and sentenced him to undergo rigorous
imprisonment for a period of 6 months and to pay fine of Rs.500/- and in
default of payment of fine, to further undergo rigorous imprisonment for a
period of 15 days.

Learned State counsel has filed the custody certificate of the
petitioner in Court today, which is taken on record. He, on the strength of
custody certificate, states that the petitioner has completed his sentence.

In view of above, present petition is rendered infructuous and
dismissed as such.
