Order On Board
06/12/2018
1. The appellant is working as Accountant in a charted accountant
firm. He is aggrieved by the impugned order passed by the
Family Court allowing maintenance pendente lite @ Rs.5,000/-.
The appellant has moved the suit for grant of divorce in which the
respondent wife has entered appearance and moved an
application for grant of interim maintenance under Section 24 of
the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955.
2. Considering the prevailing price index and for the fact that the
appellant is an accountant, the amount of interim maintenance
ordered against the appellant does not appear to be exorbitant.
3. There is no substance in this appeal. It deserves to be and is
hereby dismissed.
