1. The appellant is working as Accountant in a charted accountant

firm. He is aggrieved by the impugned order passed by the

Family Court allowing maintenance pendente lite @ Rs.5,000/-.

The appellant has moved the suit for grant of divorce in which the

respondent wife has entered appearance and moved an

application for grant of interim maintenance under Section 24 of

the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955.

2. Considering the prevailing price index and for the fact that the

appellant is an accountant, the amount of interim maintenance

ordered against the appellant does not appear to be exorbitant.

3. There is no substance in this appeal. It deserves to be and is

hereby dismissed.
