M.K. Pathan is present for the respondent/State.

2. This is an appeal challenging judgment and
order of conviction passed by learned Additional
Sessions Judge, Yavatmal in Sessions Trial No.1/2011
convicting the appellant for offences punishable under
Sections 498A and 306 of the Indian Penal Code. For
offence punishable under Section 498A of the Indian
Penal Code, the appellant is sentenced to suffer rigorous
imprisonment for 2 years and for offence punishable
under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code he is
sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for 10 years.

3. When the appeal was filed, the appellant
was represented by Advocate Shri S.J. Khandalkar.

4. The appeal is admitted and the appellant is

already released on bail by this Court. During the
pendency of the present appeal, Advocate Shri S.J.
Khandalkar has expired .

5. In that view of the matter, Registry is
directed to issue Notice to the appellant for engagement
of another counsel.

6. Put up this matter after ten weeks.
