UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following

[IA NO. 5000/2021 (APPLN. FOR DIRECTIONS ON BEHALF OF NORTH DELHI MUNICIPAL CORPORATION ) IN W.P.(C) NO. 13029/1985]

The North Delhi Municipal Corporation has come up with this application seeking to register 2 numbers of CNG BS-IV Tata Trucks with water tankers and 46 CNG BS-IV Auto tippers.

Since these vehicles are to be put to use for public utility services, the application is allowed as prayed for, following the Order dated 18.09.2020 passed by this Court.

[IA NO. 34084/2021 (APPLN. FOR DIRECTIONS ON BEHALF OF EAST DELHI MUNICIPAL CORPORATION) IN W.P.(C) NO. 13029/1985]

The East Delhi Municipal Corporation has come up with this application seeking the registration of 20 numbers of Hook Loaders BS-VI Chassis commercial vehicles.

These vehicles have hydraulically operated lifts used for loading containers into trucks. These vehicles are used by the Corporation to transfer garbage and waste to landfill sites and to help in solid waste management.

Since the vehicles are to be put to use for public utility services, the application is allowed following our earlier orders.

[IA NOS. 33511 AND 33965/2021 (APPLNS. FOR IMPLEADMENT AND DIRECTIONS ON BEHALF OF MUNNU SINGH) IN W.P.(C) NO. 13029/1985]

These applications are by a private individual seeking impleadment and registration of a Maruti Vitara Brezza VDI BS-IV vehicle, allegedly purchased on the occasion of the wedding of the applicant’s son.

But it appears that the Transport Authority of the State of Uttar Pradesh refused registration. Therefore, Shri A.D.N. Rao, learned Amicus Curiae may verify whether the applications can be considered here or the applicant should be permitted to move the Allahabad High Court.

[IA NOS. 95466 AND 95470/2020 (APPLNS. FOR IMPLEADMENT AND DIRECTIONS ON BEHALF OF DELHI FIRE SERVICE, GNCTD) IN W.P.(C) NO. 13029/1985]

Delhi Fire Service has come up with these applications (i) for impleadment; and (ii) for directing the Transport Department to register 30 fire units (BS-IV) claim to have been purchased before 31.03.2020.

Since the vehicles in question are to be put to use for public purposes and also since they have been purchased before 31.03.2020 and also registered on the E-Vahan portal, the applications are allowed.

This is an application by an individual seeking a direction for registration of Ashok Leyland ALPSV bus which is a BS-IV CNG vehicle.

Following our earlier order dated 18.09.2020, this application is allowed.

This is an application filed by an Educational Society seeking a direction to register 3 numbers of SML ISUZU school buses.

Since these buses are BS-IV CNG Euro variant vehicles, this application is allowed following our earlier orders.

This is an application by a private individual seeking direction to the concerned transport officer at Mathura to register a BS-IV diesel car.

According to the applicant he purchased a VERNA car in February, 2020 and the same was granted temporary registration on 16.03.2020.

Since the vehicle is to be registered at Mathura, Shri A.D.N. Rao, learned Amicus Curiae may verify and tell whether the applicant should approach Allahabad High Court.

[IA NO. 117511/2020 (APPLN. FOR DIRECTIONS ON BEHALF OF DELHI CANTONMENT BOARD) IN W.P.(C) NO. 13029/1985]

This is an application by the Delhi Cantonment Board seeking a direction for the registration of a CNG BS-IV truck.

The truck is intended to be used as a road broomer by the Cantonment Board. Therefore, following our earlier order dated 18.09.2020, this application is allowed.

Taken on Board.

This application was already disposed of by an Order dated 19.06.2020. While doing so, this Court directed the applicant, namely, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Prov. Logistics) to file an affidavit containing details such as the Engine Number, Chassis number etc. of all the vehicles.

Pursuant to the said direction, the Deputy Commissioner of police has filed an affidavit on 25.03.3021. The same is taken on record and hence on this I.A. no further orders are necessary.
