Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 438 of the

Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is for grant of anticipatory bail to the

petitioner in case FIR No.23 dated 03.06.2019 under Sections 406/498A

IPC registered at Police Station NRI, District SAS Nagar.

Vide order dated 10.12.2019, the matter was referred to the

Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court and the parties were

directed to appear before the mediator.

Report dated 20.02.2020 has been received from the mediator

which is accompanied with settlement/agreement dated 20.02.2020. As per

the report, the matter has been compromised between the parties.

This fact is not disputed by counsel for respondent no.2.

In view of above, the order dated 06.11.2019, whereby the

arrest of the petitioner was stayed, is made absolute. The petitioner shall

not be arrested in the case unless a clear 15 days notice is given to him.

Disposed of.

It is also made clear that the parties shall adhere to the terms

of the settlement/agreement.
