The petitioner has filed present petition under Section 482

of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of impugned

order dated 01.09.2015 passed by learned Judicial Magistrate First

Class, Yamuna Nagar at Jagadhri passed in complaint case No. 78 of

2015 titled Meenu Devgan versus Arun Devgan under Sections 498A,

406, 506 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 whereby the

petitioner was directed to return the entire jewellery taken on sapurdari

and the same was ordered to be put in a nationalised bank locker at

Yamuna Nagar in the presence of the parties for safe custody till the

decision of the case.

During pendency of the petition, the above said order was

complied with.

On conclusion of trial respondent No. 2 was acquitted

of the charges vide judgment dated 20.11.2019 and the jewellery

deposited in locker was made subject to decision of the Civil Court.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner has acknowledged that

the present petition has become infructuous and the same may be

disposed of as having become infructuous without prejudice to

challenge as to the validity of the order passed by the trial Court in

accordance with law.
