ORDER

This is an application for anticipatory bail under Section

438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

2. The petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No.8 of

2020 of Chokli Police Station registered for offence punishable under

Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation against the

accused is that on 04.01.2020, between 1 pm and 3 pm, the

daughter-in-law of the petitioner committed suicide by hanging on

the ceiling fan of her bedroom on account of the harassment of the

petitioner.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as also

the learned Public Prosecutor.

4. The learned Public Prosecutor has made available the

Case Diary.

5. Having perused the materials collected by the learned

Public Prosecutor, I am of the view that this is not a case for

anticipatory bail.

This application for anticipatory bail, in the

circumstances, is dismissed.
