Heard Sri Dheeraj Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the applicant and learned Sri Abhinav Prasad, AGA for the State.

The present application has been filed with a prayer to direct the Addl. CJM- VIII, District – Allahabad for expeditious disposal of regular bail application in Complaint Case No. 400 of 2012 (Aneesa Bano v. Mohammad Safeequ and 6 others) under Sectionsection 498A, Section504 IPC, Police Station- Bhariya, District- Allahabad, pending in the Court of Addl. CJM- VIII, District- Allahabad within time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

It is contended by learned counsel for the applicant that applicant is on interim bail since 21.8.2019 and more than three months have lapsed but his regular bail application is still pending.

Per contra learned AGA has submitted that applicant is already on interim bail and it is expected that the case in question shall be decided in accordance with law in due course.

After hearing the learned counsel for the parties this Court is of the opinion that learned counsel for the applicant could not point out any good ground which may warrant for direction to the court below for early disposal of the aforesaid case.

Present application lacks merit and is accordingly rejected.
