Prayer in this petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of

Criminal Procedure, 1973 is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner

in case FIR No.34 dated 04.04.2019 under Sections 406/498A/494 IPC

registered at Police Station Dera Baba Nanak, Police District Batala,

Gurdaspur.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that after filing the

present petition, the matter has been compromised between the parties and

on the basis of such compromise, the complainant is residing along with

the petitioner in her matrimonial home. Even a petition under Section 482

CrPC, seeking quashing of the FIR in question, has also been filed on the

basis of compromise.

In view of the aforesaid, the present petition is allowed and

the interim order dated 06.05.2019, whereby the arrest of the petitioner was

stayed, is made absolute. However, in case the petitioner is required in the

case in any manner, a clear 15 days notice be given to him.
