Prayer in this petition is for quashing of FIR No. 82 dated
29.08.2015 registered under Sections 406, 498A, 120B IPC at Police Station
Nurmahal, District Jalandhar alongwith consequential proceedings arising
therefrom on the basis of a compromise arrived at between the parties.
There was no representation on behalf of the petitioners on the
last two occasions.
Learned counsel for respondent No. 2 reiterates that the terms
and conditions of a settlement as agreed between the parties have not been
acted upon by the petitioners, therefore, it cannot be said that the matter has
been amicably resolved between the parties.
In view of the aforementioned position and there being no
representation on behalf of the petitioners on the last two occasions, this
petition is dismissed for non prosecution.
