The writ petitioner complains that she is living alone with
her daughter and carries on business of a Pharmacy Shop at Barasat
The petitioner submits that the private respondent No. 5
and 6 are constantly harassing the petitioner for which the
complaints have been lodged. There are also marital disputes
between the petitioner and the respondent No. 7 towards which a
status report has been filed by the learned counsel for the State in the
form of instructions wherefrom it appears that a chargesheet has
been filed under Section 498A/323/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
In so far as the continued harassment being made by the
private respondent No. 5 and 6 who are not represented before me
today, it is directed that the Officer-in-Charge, Barasat Police Station
shall ensure after an enquiry, posting of a Police Picket at the said
shop room of the petitioner at the Barasat Railway Station at the cost
of the petitioner which shall be paid in terms of the rules prescribed
thereunder by the State.
The Officer-in-Charge of the Barasat Police Station shall
also enquire into the allegations of the harassment being made by the

Let the instruction dated 11.07.2018 filed by the State be
kept with the record.
There will be no order as to costs.
Urgent certified photostat copy of this order, if applied for,
shall be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible on
compliance of all necessary formalities.
