This appeal is directed against the judgment and order dated
3.4.17 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge (Women Atrocities
Cases), Bikaner in Sessions Case No.26/13, whereby the appellant
has been convicted for offences under Sections 498A 302 IPC
and sentenced to suffer imprisonment as under :
498A IPC
Two years imprisonment and fine of Rs.1,000/-; in default of
payment of fine to further undergo two months simple
imprisonment.
302 IPC
Life imprisonment and fine of Rs.10,000/- ; in default of payment
of fine to further undergo six months simple imprisonment.

The appeal is reported to be barred by limitation for 134
days.
The appellant has preferred an application under Section 5 of
the Limitation Act for condonation of delay in filing the appeal.
The application is not opposed by the learned Public
Prosecutor.
Accordingly, the application is allowed. Delay in filing the
appeal is condoned.
