Petitioner seeks transfer of petition filed under Section 25

Guardian and Wards Act, 1890 by the respondent titled as Jaswinder vs.

Narinder Kaur pending in the Court of learned Additional Civil Judge

(Senior Division)-I, SAS Nagar, Mohali to a Court of competent

jurisdiction at District Ludhiana.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that son of the parties

is living with the present petitioner at Ludhiana.

As per Section 9 of the Guardian and Wards Act, 1890 a

petition is to be filed at the place where the child is living.

Since, the child is living with the present petitioner at

Ludhiana, petition filed under Section 25 Guardian and Wards Act, 1890

by the respondent titled as Jaswinder vs. Narinder Kaur pending in the

Court of learned Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division)-I, SAS NAgar,

Mohali is withdrawn from the said Court and is transferred to learned Civil

Judge (Senior Division), Ludhiana/ Guardian Judge, Ludhiana.

Present petition stands allowed accordingly.
