Narinder Singh vs Shallu Jaggi on 15 January, 2018

IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT
CHANDIGARH

CR No.6180 of 2017
Date of decision : 15.01.2018

Narinder Singh …Petitioner

Versus

Shallu Jaggi …Respondent

CORAM: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE ANIL KSHETARPAL

Present: Mr. Parvez Chugh, Advocate for the petitioner.

****

ANIL KSHETARPAL, J. (ORAL)

Husband-petitioner is in the revision petition against the order

passed under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act fixing the maintenance

pendente lite at the rate of `10,000/- per month.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has vehemently argued that

the learned Court has wrongly assumed the income of the petitioner-

husband as `50,000/- per month, although, his salary is only `31,000/- per

month.

Here is a case where wife is also maintaining the child. Taking

into consideration that fact, maintenance awarded is not unreasonable.

No ground for interference.

Revision petition is dismissed.
