This is a petition that has been filed for quashing of the FIR No.

849 dated 2.7.2016 registered under Sections 323, 406, 498A, 506 IPC at

Police Station City Panipat, District Panipat.

Learned counsel for the petitioner at the outset submits that the

matter is pending before the trial court in which some of the witnesses have

been examined. He limits his prayer for early disposal of the trial.

Learned counsel for the respondents do not raise any serious

objection to the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Consequently, this petition is dismissed with direction to the

trial court to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible.
