.. for the State
The petitioners seek anticipatory bail in connection with
Bhagwanpur Police Station Case No. 66/18 dated 21.03.2018 under
Sections 498A/302/304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code (G.R (E) 210 of
2018).
The petitioners are the mother-in-law, brother-in-law and the
wife of the brother-in-law of the victim who apparently committed
suicide by consuming poison within five years of her marriage. The
petitioners say that the husband has obtained statutory bail.
Considering the general nature of allegations levelled by the
neighbours and the fact that these petitioners may not have had a
direct link in the victim consuming poison, there may not be any need

with two sureties of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees five thousand only) each, one
of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer,
subject to the conditions as laid down in Section 438 (2) of the Code of
Criminal Procedure, 1973.
In addition, the petitioners will also report to the Investigating
Officer at such time and place as may be specified by the concerned
police officer.
The petition for anticipatory bail is allowed subject to the
