KURIAN, J.

1. Leave granted.

2. The appellant – Bank is aggrieved by the impugned Judgment whereby the Bank is to offer appointment to the respondent as a Part Time Sweeper with effect from 2008 and with 50% backwages.

3. The learned counsel for the Bank submits that in the peculiar facts and circumstances of this case, the Bank can offer a fresh appointment to the respondent as a Full Time Sweeper. We are of the view that this will be in the better interest of the respondent and it is acceptable to the respondent as well.

4. Therefore, this appeal is disposed of with a direction to the appellant-Bank to offer appointment to the respondent as a Full Time Sweeper. This shall be done within two weeks. The impugned Judgment stands modified to the above extent.

No costs.
