In compliance of order dated 06.02.2020, learned counsel

for the petitioner has produced receipts of `50,000/-. The same are

taken on record.

Through this application, prayer has been made for

compounding the offence of the petitioner in view of compromise

between the parties.

Learned counsel for respondent No.2-complainant

submits that he has no objection in allowing the application.

Heard.

The petitioner is permitted to compound the offence in

view of the fact that compromise will bring peace and harmony in

between the parties.

Application stands allowed accordingly.

Through this revision, accused has laid challenge to

judgment dated 27.01.2020 of the First Appellate Court, affirming

judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 30.05.2018 of

the trial Court, holding guilty and sentencing the petitioner to undergo

rigorous imprisonment for 02 years and to pay fine of Rs.1000/-

under Section 494 IPC and rigorous imprisonment for 01 year and to

pay fine of Rs.1000/- under Section 406 IPC.

In view of compromise effected between the parties and

permission granted to petitioner to compound the offence, affirming

conviction of revisionist under Sections 494 and 406 IPC, her

sentence is reduced from 02 years to the period already undergone

by her. She be set at liberty forthwith, if not required in any other

case.

Disposed of accordingly.
