1. Heard. Petitioner No.1 and Respondent No.2 are
husband and wife. The present petition is filed for quashing the
proceedings of RCC No.9030 of 2017. The said proceeding has arisen
out of FIR bearing CR.No I-243 of 2016 registered with Mira Road
Police Station at the instance of Respondent No.2 for the offence
punishable under sections 498A and 406 read with 34 of the Indian
Penal Code, 1860.
2. The statement is made at bar that apart from the above
proceeding between the parties, there are several other proceedings,
including the proceeding/petition for divorce, pending in various
courts. Today, parties submitted that both the parties are ready and
willing to go for mediation for the amicable settlement of all disputes

3. In the light of above, we appoint Mr. Rajiv Patil, Senior
Advocate of this Court as mediator to mediate on the disputes
between Petitioner No.1 and Respondent No.2. Petitioner No.1 and
Respondent No.2 are directed to approach the learned mediator along
with copies of necessary papers / documents. The fees of mediator
shall be borne by the Petitioner. The mediator is requested to submit
his report of the mediation within the period of five weeks from today.
