This writ petition has been filed challenging inaction on the part of

the police authorities in taking steps for concluding the investigation of

Rishra Police Station Case No.95 of 2018 dated July 7, 2018 under

Sections 498A/406/307/34 of Indian Penal Code.

A report has been filed by the Officer‐in‐Charge, Rishra Police

Station from which it is seen that investigation was concluded by the

police authorities upon examining witnesses under Section 161 of the

Code of Criminal Procedure and under Section 91 of the Code of

Criminal Procedure, a notice was issued to the complainant for co‐

operating with the investigation. It also appears that the respondent

Nos.6 and 7 were arrested and subsequently they have been released on

bail. The investigation has ultimately culminated in the submission of a

charge sheet vide Rishra P.S. Charge Sheet No.111/18 dated August 31,

2018 under Sections 498A/406/323/324/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

In view of the fact that the petitioner’s grievance has already been

redressed, no further order need be passed in this writ petition.

This writ petition is accordingly disposed of.

There will be, however, no order as to costs.

Photostat certified copy of this order be given to the parties on

priority basis.
