Present: – Mr.M.S. Rana, Advocate, for
Mr.R.S. Rana, Advocate, for the appellant.

*****
RAKESH KUMAR JAIN, J. (ORAL)

This appeal is preferred against the order dated 5.12.2018 by which

an application filed under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 [for short

‘the Act’] by the respondent-wife for seeking maintenance pendente lite and

litigation expenses has been allowed to the extent that `5,000/- has been awarded

to her towards maintenance pendente lite and `7,000/- towards litigation expenses.

Learned counsel for the appellant has submitted that the appellant

was doing the business of sale purchase of second hand cars.

We have heard learned counsel for the appellant and after taking into

consideration the facts and circumstances, are of the considered opinion that there

is no error in the approach of the learned trial Court in awarding the amount of

maintenance pendente lite and litigation expenses to the appellant.

Thus, the present appeal is hereby dismissed though without any

order as to costs.
