Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties. Perused the

case diary.

The petitioners, apprehending arrest in connection with Mohanpur P.S.

Case No. 162/19 dated 22.09.19 under Sections 498A/Section323/Section325/Section34 of the Indian

Penal Code read with Sections 3/Section4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act have come to

this court for anticipatory bail.

The petitioners in this application are accused of committing offence under

Sections 498A/Section323/Section325/Section34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 3/Section4 of

the Dowry Prohibition Act. The petitioner No.1, Ramananda Kar Mahapatra is

the husband, the petitioner No. 2, Arabinda Kar Mahapatra is the father-in-law,

the petitioner No.3, Sandhyarani Kar Mahapatra @ Sandhya Kar Mahapatra is

the mother-in-law and the petitioner No.4, Krishnanda Kar Mahapatra is the

brother-in-law of the complainant.

Considering the materials-on-record and the case diary, we find that the

petitioners are not required to undergo any custodial interrogation.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipator bail is allowed.

In the event of arrest, the petitioners shall be released on bail upon furnishing

Bond of Rs. 10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand only) each to the satisfaction of the

Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down in sub-section

(2) of Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, disposed of.
