1 Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that vide FIR No. 262/2010, a case under Sections 498A/406/34 was registered against the petitioners on the complaint of complainant/respondent No. 2 at P.S. Shalimar Bagh.

2 Learned counsel further submits that all the disputes among the parties have been settled amongst the parties for a total sum of Rs.3Lacs to be paid by petitioner No. 1 to respondent No. 2. 3 Respondent No. 2 is personally present in the court today with her counsel, Mr. Ravinder Pal Singh, Advocate who duly identifies

Crl.M.C3647/2011 Page 1 of 2 her. W/SI Ina, P.S. Shalimar Bagh also identifies the respondent No. 2. She further submits that she has received the balance amount of Rs.50,000/- today in cash from petitioner No.1 in the court today and she accepts the same.

4 Learned counsel for the respondent No. 2, on instructions submits that respondent No. 2 is no more interested in pursuing the case further in lieu of settlement arrived at between the parties. The marriage between the parties has already been dissolved vide decree of mutual consent dated 07.06.2011.

5 Keeping in view the statement of respondent No. 2 and the fact that the marriage of respondent No. 2 and petitioner No. 1 has already been dissolved, I quash the FIR No. 262/2010 registered at P.S. Shalimar Bagh, Delhi and all the proceedings emanating therefrom. 6 Criminal M.C. 3647/2011 is allowed and disposed of. 7 Dasti.
