Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to issue a direction, directing the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Tambaram to withdraw the Lookout circular against the petitioner herein in Passport No.G7878641.

ORDER

The prayer sought for in the present petition is to issue a direction, directing the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Tambaram to withdraw the Lookout circular against the petitioner herein in Passport No.G7878641.

2. In connection with Cr.No.15/2010 for offence under section 498A IPC among other offences, a look out circular came to be issued against the petitioner on 05.11.2011. It is submitted by the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) that the charge sheet filed in the said case has been taken on file in C.C.No.427 of 2015 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Tambaram. The look out circular seems to have been issued on the basis of Non-bailable warrant, and the siad Lookout circular is impugned in the present Crl.O.P.No.2079 of 2018.

3. Today when the matter is called the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) submitted that the pursuant to the Non-Bailable warrant issued against the petitioner, in connection with C.C.No.427 of 2015 the petitioner is co-operating in the proceedings.

4. In view of the same, the Lookout circular impugned as such, is lapsed since the purpose for which the circular came to be issued has been met.

5. In the result, it is hereby observed that the Lookout circular in C.C.No.427 of 2015 issued against the petitioner herein has lapsed and that the respondent herein or other officials, shall not apprehend or secure the petitioner in any manner, by citing the Lookout circular against the petitioner herein. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
