PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C.,
to direct the 1st respondent to withdraw the Look Out Circular issued as
against the petitioner dated 23.04.2016 in connection with the case in Crime
No.4 of 2016 on the file of the 2nd respondent police and consequently direct
the 1st respondent to intimate the same to the Immigration Officers.

:ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to the first respondent to
withdraw the Lookout Circular issued against the petitioner on 23.04.2016.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that an FIR was
registered against the petitioner for the offence under Section 498A of IPC.
Even at the FIR stage Lookout circular was issued against the petitioner.
Subsequently, a final report has been filed by the respondent Police in CC
No.350 of 2017. This final report has been challenged before this Court in
ClOP(MD)No. 16925 of 2017 and this Court has granted stay of all further
proceedings in the above said CC.

3.In view of the subsequent development, the Lookout Circular issued
against the petitioner cannot be kept pending forever.

4.There shall be a direction to the first respondent to immediately
intimate the Immigration Office concerned to withdraw the Lookout Circular
issued against the petitioner. This intimation shall be given by the first
respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of
this order.

5.With the above directions, this criminal original petition is
disposed of.
