Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the

petitioner in FIR No. 50 dated 01.06.2016 registered under Sections 498A,

406, 506 IPC at Police Station Women Cell, Jhajjar.

It is submitted that pursuant to order dated 28.07.2016, the

petitioner has joined investigation. He offered to return all the articles of the

complainant which were lying with him, however, the complainant has

refused to receive any of the articles. This fact is recorded by this Court on

Criminal Misc. M- No. 25458 of 2016 (OM) -2-

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI

Munesh, affirms that the petitioner has joined investigation and has

co-operated in the investigation. It is yet again verified that the complainant

has refused to receive the articles alleged to have given in the dowry.

There are no allegations on behalf of the State that the

petitioner is likely to abscond or that he is likely to dissuade the

witnesses from deposing true facts in the Court, if released on bail.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances noted above but

without expressing any opinion on the merits of case, it is considered just

and expedient to allow this petition. Consequently, order dated 28.07.2016

is made absolute.
