Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for
quashing the FIR No.0054 dated 17.07.2018 registered under Sections
498A/Section406 of IPC at Police Station Shahpurkandi, Tehsil and District
Pathankot (Anneuxre P-2) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom
including the challan under Section 173 Cr.P.C. dated 24.11.2018 (Annexure
P-3) and the charges framed under Sections 498A and Section406 IPC vide order
dated 11.01.2019 (Annexure P-4).
This Court, vide order dated 12.03.2019, while referring the
matter to the Mediator, had made it clear that the payment of Rs.15,000/- as
litigation expenses to the respondent-wife would be a condition precedent so
as to initiate mediation proceedings.

Counsel for respondent No.2 has argued that respondent has
appeared before the Mediator, but she has not been paid Rs.15,000/-.
For not having complied the order dated 12.03.2019, the present
petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
