Heard the learned Advocates appearing on behalf of
the parties. Perused the case diary.
The petitioner is in custody for 178 days. Charge
sheet has already been submitted.
Upon consideration of the materials in the case
diary including the statements of the of the neighbouring
people recorded under Section 161 Cr.P.C., which are at
pages 44, 45, 46 and 47 of the case diary and also after
considering the role attributed to the petitioner in the
commission of the offence, we are inclined to allow the
petitioner’s prayer for bail.
Accordingly, we allow her prayer for bail.
Let the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing
a bond of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of Rs.5,000/- each,
one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the learned
Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purba Medinipur.
The application for bail is, thus, disposed of.
