The petitioners complain of police inaction.
The State and the private respondents are
represented.
Learned Advocate appearing for the State
relies upon a written instruction and submits that, there
are at least two cases between the private parties. The
police received a complaint from the private respondent
which was registered as Domjur Police Station Case
No.746/18 dated October 15, 2018, inter alia, under
Section 498A of the Code of Civil Procedure and Section 3
/ Section4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act and that, such FIR
ended in a charge sheet dated October 31, 2018. The
wife of the writ petitioner submitted a complaint which

was registered as Domjur Police Station Case No.804 of
2018 dated November 19, 2018 which resulted in a
charge sheet dated December 22, 2018. The complaint of
the petitioner herein was enquired into and the same was
treated as a First Information Report being Domjur Police
Station Case No.569 of 2019 dated September 28, 2019
under Sections 341/Section323/Section506/Section34 of the Indian Penal
Code and Section 24 of the Maintenance and Welfare of
Parents and Senior Citizen Act. The investigation with
regard thereto is in progress.
In the facts of the present case, the police
having taken steps as noted above, no further
interference is called for.
WP No.19306(W) of 2019 is disposed of.
No order as to costs.

applied for, be made available to the parties upon
compliance of the requisite formalities.
