Judgment / Order

Both the parties are present. It is informed that a compromise has
been arrived at between them. The offence registered against the
petitioner is under Section 498A IPC while offence under Section 406
IPC was compounded before the trial court. The compromise has been
duly attested. Keeping in view the allegations in the FIR and in the spirit
of Lok Adalat, the compromise is taken on record and accepted.
Accordingly, the proceedings initiated under Section 498A IPC as
against the petitioner are quashed. The parties are directed to maintain
peace and live amicably.

The criminal misc. petition is disposed of.
