…for the State.

Mr. Vijay Verma
Mr. Sreyash Kumar Singh.

…for the opposite party no.2.

Report has been submitted by the Inspector/ARS/DD

which was associated with Kasba Police Station in connection with

Kasba Police Station Case No.477 dated 07.11.2019 and registered

for investigation under Sections 498A/506/34 of the Indian Penal

Code. Let the report be kept with the record.

Earlier, Mr. Gupta, learned advocate appearing for the

petitioners submitted that there has been change of circumstances

and a compromise has been arrived at between the parties.

Learned advocate for the opposite party no.2 is also

present.

The report so submitted encloses a statement signed by

the opposite party no.2, namely, Smt. Akansha Sharma. It has been
2

categorically stated that there has already been a mutual divorce on

25th May, 2022 and the lady is not willing to pursue with Kasba

Police Station Case No.477 of 2019.

Having considered the report so submitted along with the

enclosures, I am of the considered view that as the case relates to

matrimonial discord and the settlement has been arrived at between

the parties, further continuance of the proceedings arising out of

Kasba Police Station Case No.477 of 2019 dated 07.11.2019

including the charge-sheet submitted therein and is pending before

the learned ACJM, Alipore is hereby quashed.

Consequently, CRR 3696 of 2022 is allowed.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly

downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied

for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite

formalities.
