Heard on IA No.4946/2017, an application under
Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 for grant of
maintenance pendente lite.

Considering the fact that the respondent / husband is
having two acre of irrigated land and in proceedings under
Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, an
amount of Rs.2,500/- per month has been awarded to the
appellant as interim maintenance, we enhance the aforesaid
amount and direct the respondent / husband to pay a total
sum of Rs.3,000/- (rupees three thousand) per month. The
enhanced amount shall be paid to the appellant / wife from
the date of application; and the respondent / husband shall
regular pay the enhanced amount of Rs.500/- (rupees five
hundred) as interim maintenance during the pendency of
this appeal.

With the aforesaid, IA No.4946/2016 is allowed in
part and disposed of.
