Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the material on record.

The present petition has been filed seeking expeditious disposal of the Trial of Criminal Case No.246 of 2017 (State Vs. Subhash and others) in Crime no.44/16 under Sections 498A, Section323, Section504, Section506, Section494 IPC and 3/4 of D.P. Act, P.S. Mahila Thana, District Lucknow.

The submission of counsel for the applicant is that the evidence of the applicant was completed on 26.3.2019, however, the case is not proceeding expeditiously.

Considering the limited submission made at the bar, the Court below is directed to take steps for expeditious disposal of the Trial of Criminal Case No.246 of 2017 (State Vs. Subhash and others) in Crime no.44/16 under Sections 498A, Section323, Section504, Section506, Section494 IPC and 3/4 of D.P. Act, P.S. Mahila Thana, District Lucknow, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.

The present petition is disposed off with the said directions.
