Judgments of Supreme Court of India and High Courts

Smt. Lali vs State Of U.P. on 25 July, 2019

HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD

?Court No. – 28

Case :- CRIMINAL REVISION No. – 2544 of 2005

Revisionist :- Smt. Lali

Opposite Party :- State Of U.P.

Counsel for Revisionist :- A.N. Pandey

Counsel for Opposite Party :- Govt. Advocate

Hon’ble Rajeev Misra,J.

Case called out in the revised list. No one appears on behalf of revisionist to press this criminal revision. Learned A.G.A. representing opposite party No.1 is present.

This criminal revision is directed against the judgement and order dated 13.5.2005, passed by Additional Sessions Judge (Court No.13), Bulandshahr in S.T. No. 820 of 1997 (State Vs. Naresh Kumar and Others) under Sectionsections 498A, Section304B, Section302, Section201 IPC and Section 3/4 D.P. Act, P.S. Ahmadgarh, District Bulandshahr, whereby paper no. 130B, preferred by the revisionist, has been rejected.

The present criminal revision came up for admission on 26.5.2005 but no stay order was granted. A period of more than 13 years have rolled by, since the date of passing of order dated 26.5.2005. The trial must have concluded by now. Consequently, in all probability, by efflux of time, the present revision has been rendered infructuous.

It is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous.

Order Date :- 25.7.2019
