C/l. 02.07.

54.
Bpg.

2018

In the High Court at Calcutta
Civil Revisional Jurisdiction
Appellate Side

C.O. No.1760 of 2018

Smt. Swarnali Ujjal Ray, nee Kusari
Versus
Sri Ujjal Kanta Ray

Md. Shahjahan Hossain,
Ms. Sanjida Sultana,
Mr. Prithwiraj Biswas.

…for the petitioner.

The grievance of the petitioner/wife is that,

despite the opposite party/husband having admitted

his net income of Rs.1.7 lacs per month, a meagre

amount of Rs.15,000/- per month was directed to be

paid by the court below as maintenance pendente lite.

There is substance in such contention.

Accordingly, the petitioner will serve a copy of

C.O. No.1760 of 2018 on the opposite party indicating

that the matter will appear as a “Contested Application”

in the monthly list of August, 2018.
2

The petitioner will file an affidavit of service on

the next date of hearing.

It is made clear that any amount of alimony, if

received by the petitioner in the meantime, will be

without prejudice to her rights and contentions in the

present revisional application.
