The learned Counsel appears for the State,
particularly for the Officer-in-charge, Baguiati Police
Station submits that a case being Baguiati P.S. Case No.
215/08 had been registered by the Police against the
deceased son of the writ-petitioner under Section 498A of
the Indian Penal Code.
The said daughter-in-law i.e. the complainant is
stated to have left matrimonial home after such
complaint. However, after investigation was commenced
in respect of such complaint, the principal accused
therein being the son of the writ-petitioner had committed

been registered as Baruipur P.S. Case No. 411/2017.

of this order. A suitable report may be submitted to the
learned ACJM concerned against which the writ-
petitioner shall be at liberty to take steps in accordance
with law and as he may be advised.

21714 (W) of 2017 is disposed of. No order as to costs.
Let the report dated September 26, 2018 be kept
with the record. A copy of the said report has been made
to the learned Counsel for the writ-petitioner.
