The petitioner has challenged order no.17
dated 12th April, 2018, passed by the learned
Additional District Judge, 3rd Court, at Berhampore,
Murshidabad, in Miscellaneous Case No.43 of 2016
arising out of Matrimonial Suit No.162 of 2016.
By the impugned order, the learned trial
court granted maintenance pendente lite to the minor
daughters of the parties and directed the petitioner to
pay Rs.2000/- per month for each of the daughters
with effect from December, 2016 along with arrear
amount of Rs.64,000/-, the arrears being payable in
ten equal consecutive monthly instalments,
commencing from May, 2018.
The petitioner, in the present application,
has prayed for setting aside the amount of arrear
maintenance to be paid to the minor daughters.

The petitioner should serve a copy of the
application along with annexures, if any, on the
opposite party within a period of three weeks from
this date and file affidavit of service to that effect on
the next date of hearing.
Let the matter stand over for a period of
three weeks.
