The petitioners have sought for extension of interim order dated
14.12.2016 whereby the proceedings in G R Case No. 46 of 2009 pending
before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bidhan Nagar, North 24
Parganas arising out of Lake Town P. S. Case No. 13 dated 28.01.2009 under
Sections 498A/323/406 of the Indian Penal Code was stayed for a period of two
weeks after vacation or until further order, whichever is earlier.
This order was further extended for a further period of ten weeks
after ensuing puja vacation or until further orders, whichever is earlier by order
dated September 1, 2017 in CRAN application being CRAN 3397 of 2017.
It is submitted by Sri Brajesh Jha, learned advocate for the
petitioners that the petitioners are married sisters-in-law of the de facto

complainant and they are in no way connected with the alleged offence as
alleged by the de facto complainant arraying them as accused persons.
Upon hearing the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the
petitioners, let the interim order passed earlier be revived and continued till 31st
March 2019.
Let the matter be listed under the heading “For Orders” in the
combined monthly list of March, 2019.
CRAN 2436 of 2018 is disposed of.
Liberty to pray for extension, modification, variation and/or
vacating the interim order upon notice to the other side.
