Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners

submits that the petitioners have filed affidavit of service

before the court on 27th July, 2018.

Now, the petitioners have prayed for stay of the

proceedings in G. R. Case No. 2436 of 2017 arising out of

Siliguri Women Police Station Case No. 191 of 2017 dated

28.07.2017 under Sections 498A/506 of the Indian Penal

Code read with Section 3 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act

pending before the Court of the Learned Additional Chief

Judicial Magistrate, Siliguri, Darjeeling.

During the course of hearing, learned advocate

appearing for the petitioners cannot say the next date of

hearing of the G. R. Case No. 2436 of 2017 pending before the

court of the Ld. A. C. J. M, Siliguri, Darjeeling and also the

stage of that proceeding. Moreover, it appears that the

petitioners served the notice upon the opposite parties in the

month of July, 2018.

Petitioners are directed to intimate this court

regarding the stage of proceedings pending before the Ld.

Magistrate and to inform the opposite parties regarding their

prayer for stay of the further proceedings of the G. R. Case as

mentioned above before the Ld. A. C. J. M, Siliguri,


Let the main application CRR 1327 of 2018

appear in the list after two weeks under the heading

“Contested Application”.

Petitioners are directed to communicate the gist of

this order to the opposite parties and to file affidavit of service

on the next date for hearing.

Petitioners are given liberty to mention upon service

of notices to the opposite parties.
