The petitioner has impugned the order dated 26.03.2018
(Annexure P-2) passed by learned Addl. Principal Judge, Family Court,
Faridabad, vide which maintenance pendente lite @ Rs.7,000/- has been
allowed to the wife-respondent.
After going through the file and keeping in view the price of
essential commodities and the status of the parties, I am of the view that a
sum of `7,000/- per month as maintenance pendente lite cannot be called
excessive or exorbitant. Therefore, there is no ground to interfere in the
quantum of maintenance fixed by the learned Addl. Principal Judge, Family
As such, the present revision petition is dismissed.
However, at the request of learned counsel for the petitioner,
the learned Addl. Principal Judge, Family Court, Faridabad, is directed to

send the case to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Faridabad for
making efforts for reconciliation.
