The petitioner has raised a point as to whether the

learned Additional District Judge, 10th Court, Alipore, South 24

Parganas was justified in granting Rs.15,000/‐ per month to the

petitioner as maintenance pendente lite from the date of the

order and not from the date of the application and also

whether the quantum of Rs.15,000/‐ per month was sufficient

in view of the income of the husband which was almost one

lakh per month.

It is pointed out that the husband did not appear in

the proceeding and as such did not discharge his onus to proof

his income.

The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this

revisional application to the opposite party/husband and file

affidavit of service on the next date.

Let this matter appear in the monthly combined list

of March, 2020 under the heading “Contested

Application”(item No.4).

In the meantime, the husband will continue to pay

the amount, as already directed by this Court.
