1 Petitioner No. 1 is present with his advocate. Respondent

No. 2 is present with her advocate. Both jointly request for quashing

of FIR, which is essentially under Section 498A of Indian Penal Code.

2 Marriage Petition A-805/2018 filed by respondent No. 2

has been converted into proceedings for grant of decree by mutual

consent by Family Court. There, petitioner No.1-husband has

deposited amount of Rs. 27 lakhs which is to be withdrawn by

respondent No. 2.

3 Respondent No. 2 has today in Court given her no

objection and has also tendered affidavit. Accordingly, affidavit is

taken on record.

4 In this situation, we make rule absolute in terms of prayer

clause (A).

5 All concerned to act on the authenticated copy of this

order.
